What is Amazon Warehouse?

If you thought Amazon Warehouse was just the building where orders are fulfilled, you’re not technically wrong. However, it is too a section of the website that you can visit to get great deals. Amazon Warehouse is where returned and lightly used items from Amazon are available for purchase at a discounted price.

How does Amazon Warehouse work?

To access the Amazon Warehouse home page, click here. You can also find Amazon Warehouse in the department drop-down menu next to the search bar on the Amazon homepage. This is a useful feature if you are looking for a particular product and want to see if it was available at a lower price. Just select the Warehouse option from the drop-down menu, search for the name of the product you’re looking for, and see what happens.

While Amazon Warehouse probably isn’t the section you’ll be shopping for gifts in, it’s a great place to browse if you’re looking to pick up some lightly used items for yourself. For example, the Cosori Max XL Air Fryer is $120 on Amazon right now. However, the same air fryer is currently available at Amazon Warehouse for $85.84. While this latest air fryer is in use, the condition is labeled as “very good”. To access the Amazon Warehouse price on any item, scroll down the right side of the page below the original price box and look for a second price, listed as “Save With Used – Very Good” (or another name product status).

According to Amazon, all items are reviewed and rated using a 20-point quality process. They use the tags below to give buyers a quick understanding of product condition, as well as detailed feedback specific to that item. Look for these labels when shopping at Amazon Warehouse:

  • Renewed: This is Amazon’s refurbished version. All renewed products have been inspected and tested by Amazon to work and look like new. It should have little to no signs of wear and comes with the Amazon Renewed Guarantee which gives you 90 days to request a replacement or refund.

  • Used – Like New: An item in perfect working order. The packaging may show minor damage.

  • Used – Very Good: Item has seen limited use and remains in excellent working condition. The packaging may be damaged or it may be repackaged.

  • Used – Good: Item shows wear, but remains in good working order. The packaging may be damaged or it may be repackaged.

  • Used – Acceptable: Item is quite worn but continues to function properly. The packaging may be damaged or it may be repackaged.

As Amazon writes in the description, used items are covered by Amazon’s 90-Day Renewed Warranty. They have also been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon qualified vendors.

One thing to note: when browsing categories, Amazon Warehouse allows you to sort products by price from lowest to highest, but this feature disappears if you type a specific product in the search bar. Luckily, TikTok user @caseyyisfetchh, who runs an account full of Amazon and money-saving hacks, has found a way around this to make finding the best deal even easier.

In the video, she breaks down the steps of sorting search results when the option isn’t available otherwise, which involves tweaking the URL in order to redirect your page. As she explains, you will need to add a tag at the end of the URL. The tag is as follows: &s=price-add-rank. After doing this and pressing enter, the page should refresh and you should be able to buy from low to high prices.
