Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Richarlison from Everton in a deal worth up to £60million, Athleticism understand.
The Brazilian striker passed his medical in Brazil today and will now join the north London club on a five-year deal.
It is understood Everton rejected a £40million bid for Richarlison on Wednesday before the offer was increased significantly. Another club showed late interest in him but that wasn’t enough to stop Spurs from completing the deal.
Athleticism reported on Tottenham’s interest in Richarlison earlier this month.
The Brazilian has been at Everton since 2018 but now wants to test himself on the European stage.
Tottenham would give Richarlison the platform to do just that as Conte’s side qualified for the Champions League by finishing fourth last season.
Richarlison, who has been capped 36 times by Brazil, has scored 53 goals in 152 games since joining Everton from Watford in a deal worth £40m which also included a clause 10% sale.
He scored 10 goals in 30 Premier League games last season to help Everton stay in the top flight.
Richarlison will follow Yves Bissouma, Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic to join Tottenham ahead of the new campaign.
