Ever since Endrick’s name started making the rounds, Real Madrid have been speculating about a move for him.
Touted as the next biggest superstar in Brazilian football, it seems almost destined that the 16-year-old will one day join the European champions, in the same vein as Casemiro, Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo.
A new revelation has suggested what it would take to Los Blancos to perfect the teenage feel shot.
According to a report by Mundo DeportivoPalmeiras have set a whopping €70m price tag to sanction the sale of the youngster.
Alongside Barcelona, Real Madrid’s scouting team have been following the progress of Juni Calafat-led Endrick. Ultimately, any potential move won’t happen until 2024 when the wonderkid turns 18.
At first glance, it is likely that madridistas scoff at Endrick’s valuation, given that he remains an untested commodity in Europe.
However, it’s not uncharted territory for the La Liga champions, considering they paid a whopping €46m and €45m fee for Vinicius Jr. and Rodrygo, respectively.
At the time, it looked like Real Madrid had exceeded expectations to secure the arrival of the two players, who were simply tipped to become superstars one day.
Fast forward to 2022, and Vinicius Jr. is a serious contender in the Ballon d’Or race, while Rodrygo is one of the continent’s most complete young strikers.
Considering Endrick is seen as just one generational talent among many in the Brazilian football circuit, Carlo Ancelotti’s men may well be doing all they can to ensure they beat the competition for his signature.
However, only time will tell if Real Madrid consider Endrick to be a player worth €70m in 2024.
