Liverpool ‘have the resources’ to strike a stunning ‘€200m’ deal to sign the player Klopp loves

Liverpool have ‘enough resources’ to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe, according to reports in Spain.

It was widely reported this week that Mbappe wants to leave the French club.

The French striker apparently feels ‘betrayed’ because of ‘false promises’ with his relationship with the Parisians ‘completely broken’.

Real Madrid have done everything to lure the youngster to the Bernabeu with his contract set to expire this summer.

However, PSG promised him the world and more and Mbappe renewed his contract in the French capital.

He is unhappy playing alone in the middle under Christophe Galtier and has reportedly been told by the club president that he will sign a new striker to play alongside him, as well as another centre-back.

These promises have not been kept, however, and Mbappe is not a happy bunny.

After Madrid proved their tough competition, it was said that PSG won’t let the 23-year-old join the European champions if they decide to sanction his sale.

A departure next summer is more likely than in the January window, if he is allowed to leave.

Liverpool were also in on the action earlier this year, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp admitting he was interested in a deal.

The Premier League club is arguably his most likely destination, even if it will be extremely Dear.

That said, the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo (Going through sports witness) report that Liverpool have “sufficient resources” to complete the deal.

Klopp is a huge ‘admirer’ of the France international and Liverpool get a mention from the Spanish publication.

Although PSG director Luis Campos has ruled out an exit, rumors are set to swirl for next year.

Liverpool are said to be ‘attentive’ to the situation and although Klopp previously ruled out a move, there is a chance Mbappe could move to Anfield.

The Reds have the guts to strike a deal and Mbappe has ‘never ruled out’ a move to Liverpool which is a huge boost for their pursuit.

According MarkLiverpool and Real Madrid are the only possible destinations for the former Monegasque teenager.

A move was previously impossible for the Merseyside club, but it could materialize if PSG were willing to let him go.

Their asking price is a slight stumbling block, however, with the player likely costing ‘over €200m’.

Mbappe’s annual salary is also around €50m.

There have been rumors that Liverpool could include Mohamed Salah in a deal to sign Mbappe…
