Well, Fabio Vieira joining Arsenal seems like a certainty at this stage, but could Liverpool have played a part in this impending addition?

According to Pedro Sepulveda, a Portuguese journalist, the Porto midfielder is set to join Arsenal in a £34m move.

Vieira, linked with a switch to Liverpool earlier this summer, is due to pass his medical on Friday and from there it will only be a matter of time before the Gunners announce their first major snap of the summer, after signing Marquinhos earlier this week. .

Despite the Portuguese maestro’s first refusal, it looks like Klopp has been shut down until January and if Vieira scores a major success at Arsenal, well, maybe Mikel Arteta owes his German counterpart a cheeky thank you.
