Belle Lingerie offers staff a £1,000 cost of living bonus

A lingerie and swimwear company based in the BRADFORD district has offered its staff a £1,000 fuel bonus to help with the rising cost of living.

Belle Lingerie, based on Chain Bar Road, has offered its staff a non-refundable fuel bonus over a 12-month period to help them cope with recent increases in gas and electricity prices, starting this month -this.

Janine Dutton, chief executive of Belle Lingerie, urged other business leaders to follow suit to help their own staff financially.

She wants to send a clear message to the bosses of other companies, large or small, that the health and well-being of staff is of paramount importance, post-pandemic.

She said: ‘After an extremely difficult and financially turbulent few years for many during the pandemic, I can’t quite believe that the rising cost of living we are experiencing this year continues to make people’s lives a misery. .

Our staff have worked exceptionally hard throughout the pandemic, to keep everyone’s jobs secure, and following the huge gas and electricity price hike recently, I knew that as a company, we had to do something to help our staff in these difficult times

“Actions speak louder than words, and I strongly urge the bosses of other companies, big or small, to follow in our footsteps, if possible, to ensure a happy and healthy workforce.

“A little kindness can go a long way, and that’s a message I can’t wait to spread.”

Belle Lingerie is the UK’s largest independent lingerie and swimwear retailer.
