A sure sign of spring: Boy Scout cookie stands

Billings, MT – March 25 – If you didn’t get a chance to pre-order your Girl Scout Cookies, no worries! You can still buy your favorites at Girl Scout Cookie Booths in Montana and Wyoming.

From the local grocery store to supermarkets, the Girl Scout troops will organize sales at their stand from Friday March 25th to April 17th. Customers can find the exact locations, dates and times in their area in two ways:

• Visit girlscoutcookies.org and enter their zip code

• Download the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder app from iTunes or Google Play

Classic favorites from Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Trefoils and Lemon Ups are available for $4/box. The new cookie variety, Adventurefuls, is also available for just $4/box. This brownie-inspired cookie with caramel creme with a hint of sea salt will soon become a new favorite. Specialty cookies, including the gluten-free variety Toffee-Tastics and Girl Scout S’mores, are $5/box.

If people don’t want to eat the cookies themselves, they can still support local Girl Scouts without taking cookies home. As part of the Council Gift of Caring program, cookies are given away to hometown heroes, including firefighters, police officers, first responders, medical personnel, and others the troops recognize as heroes. It’s another way for Girl Scouts to make an impact in their community through the cookie program!

All net income generated by the Girl Scout Cookie program – every penny after the baker is paid – stays with the local council and troops. Girl Scout troops set goals on how to spend their profits on program-related activities, including travel, camp, as well as purchasing materials for community projects.
